I’m tired of people complaining of a free site, bandwidth is expensive and I’m tired of paying for it. Will the site come back? Maybe if my boss actually paid me for my work. I only put up the donation button since my boss hasn’t paid me for the past 3 months. If/when/ever I get paid I’ll think about putting the site back up.

Your financial problems are your own. If you’re not being paid for your work, maybe you should grow some balls and do something about it. No shit bandwidth is expensive. No one asked you to pay for it out of your pocket or the kindness of your heart. If you needed cash to support the site you should have been more vocal about it. People won’t click a donation button without some considerable motivation.
Hopefully you learned some lessons from this. Turn over the domain to somebody who has a clue about running it.

moe-board has always been one of my main wallpaper sources, so it’s bloody sad to see it leave now. :(

(i got the whole old 3600’ backuped, plus about ~1 pics before that , plus 1,4 new … not sure if i got all 3600-6xxx , but most of them I think. Totalling about 6100 pics , 17gb )

The only problem my torrent would face is its speed… Judgeing from my previous imouto batch, I need ~1day for one GB… So with 17gb, theres no way I could make seeders before begining-mid next month lol …

hehe… now the problem is… although your server has 100mbit, I´d still need at LEAST 1 whole week just to upload to your server…
Im sure it would be faster if your 100mbit server “just” connects to the torrent and helps to spread pieces faster… After 1-2 weeks more than 1 would be finished then. (And you could upload at real 100mbit or something)

Oh man, those annoying complainers are everywhere. I even find people complaining about the downtime of their FREE MMRPG! FREE gaming, FREE use of service and still complainers! It’s a real pity to see you got those people too, but hey, there are even people who hack open-source programs! Just to mention how lame some people are.
So, what do I think. No at first, let me say, the site is/ was great. I hope it get up somewhere. (Man if I knew you needed the donation that hard I would donated you … uh it was paypal was it?) At any case don’t let the complainers bother you. Complainers are and will be always and everywhere on the web. Don’t let them get you! Those should not be the reason to quit, even a reason to keep going (as long as you have a good amount of ‘social’ visitors).

dovac, it’s sad for sure to read you got a 3 months payment delay. I work really hard to pay my bills and I know the disaster I would be if I was in your situation. I think it’s already time to move to a better company/job.
