My transition from free software

Arr~ my first blog post
Until recently, last year in fact, I used to be a hardcore free software zealot, never touching anything except Linux or BSD. That all changed when I went shopping for a laptop. Hard-pressed to find something packing the power of a desktop while being small and cute, I decided to get a Macbook Pro. Instantly I found I was actually using my laptop as opposed to fixing and compiling things all the time. ><;
I still enjoy using free software, but no longer do I shun closed proprietary things, if it gets the job done, it doesn’t matter what you use? ne?
