[0verflow] School Days 12 Screening

MOONPHASE got first dibs on 0verflow’s latest news entry today which basically explained that they’ll be sponsoring a School Days episode 12 screening event in Tokyo sometime this week.
Some conditions along with the attendance fee still haven’t been decided as well as the place or the specific time of the event. The available info only states it’s going to happen in Tokyo sometime this week. Attendees will have to present an unopened copy of the School Days or Summer Days eroge, meaning shrink-wrapped copies only! The software package will be inspected (if I’m getting this right) and you’ll receive a queue ticket with which you might be able to claim the event ticket. It’s a limited event so not everyone in the queue will get to see it. Of course, for the lucky ones who will be able to attend it, image-recording devices, noisy cellphones, drinks, food, and smoking will be prohibited.
So keep refreshing that page, friends in Japan! Also, 0verflow kindly warns its customers that the event will have no relation to the TV Broadcast Bureau or the TV broadcasters. They wish to keep inquiries to a minimum but you can still contact them on their e-mail address.
School Days DVD 1 was released today. I think 0verflow’s commemorative gesture will be welcomed by its loyal fans while at least the English speaking crowds are getting the shaft again. We will most likely have to wait for the final episode until the last DVD gets released.

What the heck? I call foul play! That’s so unfair toward the non Japanese audience. And I still don’t see the very big deal why the TV stations would not air it at all. Even in Higurashi Kai 12 they sacrificed the bloody ax scene in the opening.
