Pratia Radio #41 - A new beginning

Episode #40 was Tamiyasu Tomoe’s farewell episode, where she gets all sorts of gifts and cake and stuff. Then, over the new year, the show was reinvented and a new replacement put in for #41.
The new co-host is Miyazawa Yuana, another relatively new seiyuu. Miyazawa probably isn’t as crazy and eroero as Tamiyasu was, but who knows how the show will turn out. If anything, this will help train a new generation of radio personalities.
On to more technical things… Pratia’s new format is streaming WMA T_____T It used to be a straight 96kps mp3 that came in at some 30-40mb each show, and was actually one of the highest quality radio shows on the internet in this genre. Every Wednesday night/Thursday, Pratia’s servers would bog down severely under the load.
Now the wma file is about 7mb or so, at 33kbps bitrate. It’s still better than onsen’s 21kbps, but still… Ah well.
